“My family attended the “Holiday Around the World” event with other Veteran families. It was so unexpected as we’ve never been invited to something just for families like ours. It was special. There was delicious food and goodies, hot chocolate for the kids and a Christmas Tree wall hanging the little ones could put stickers on. HOP had asked parents for suggestions of something our kids really wanted for Christmas and every child was surprised with a gift they’d been hoping for! I was truly surprised to meet two other families living very close to us and their kids and mine attend the same school.”
